How I Draw Fawnlings by MelonHeadGirl How I Draw Fawnlings by MelonHeadGirl
I've had several people ask me how I draw my Fawnlings, so I figured drawing a guide would be better than explaining it badly several times over. :giggle:

Just to clarify: this is how I draw Fawnlings. This does not mean this is the correct way, people have just asked how I draw them, so I'm just showing that. :aww: The impression I've got is that Fawnlings are pretty much open to interpretation by each RP-er, so this is just what I've made of them. :aww:

If you can't read all the little notes tell me and I'll type them up. :D

For those who are interested, the light build is effectively Caysa, the medium Lia and the heavy is something like Aytan.

Glad to hear it - I might re-make it with a more up-to-date version since this one is about a year old!

This guide is really nice but actually deer doesnt have a canine nose, but deer has a nose that reaches down to their lips. But besides that its really helpful^^

Haha, thank you, but I did make it over a year ago when I was just starting, so I wasn't quite the expert on deer anatomy :giggle:

Several people, definitely the majority, draw Fawnlings with a vaguely canine-like nose. Even if deer do not have dog-like noses, Fawnlings are fantasy creatures free to some interpretation. A lot of people find it easier to give them noses with a more familiar and easier shape.

Youre totally right and it was not meant as an attack against you or the way you interpret them^^ Its just the way I draw them because I myself draw them with a deer nose.

I am not the one who made the tutorial so it's in no way attacking me xD
But either way I just figured I would mention it is in no way any less helpful just because she does draw them that way. Since they're completely fantasy creatures, even though deer and horse noses are both quite different than canine noses, it's still how a lot of people draw them P:
