Illuminated

They soon came to the hill, and Eddie bounded up the slope and sailed over the relatively small jump compared to the rest on the course. He hesitated for a split second at the steep slope on the other side, then edged his way down, rather slowly. Liz gave him a nudge, and the startled stallion launched himself forwards, straight off the slope. Liz squeaked in fright, then barely had time to collect herself and steer Eddie right before he veered completely off-course.
