Training Days

First training pictures for DWS Undoubtable! Love this girl, can't wait to get showing her soon! Random little stories shown from the perspective of her (mystery) rider below

Top Left:
Cross country training with Bella today -- that mare just doesn't stop moving! She kept galloping for the full session, even though she was sweating buckets by the end of it. Did the last ride through the pond to try and cool her down a bit, and considering I've never ridden her through deep water before she handled it really well; hardly any hesitation at all. This mare is really something special, hopefully I'll get to stick with her as she moves forwards.

Top Right:
Showjumping training with Bella. Struggling to hold her back so she can actually navigate the tighter turns, so we're actually losing time because we have to go round the long way most of the time. She got a bit annoyed at me trying to slow her down towards the end though, and started throwing herself about a bit. Ended up getting her over some 1m high parallels and oxers by the end.

Bottom Left:
Dressage training with Bella. I think she hates me a bit now... dressage really isn't her forte. Every single transition downwards was accompanied with a bit of a strop, and she nearly yanked my shoulders out of their sockets at one point when she yanked on the reins. Got a decent canter collection out of her towards the end though, we just need to work on getting to them more easily!

Bottom Right:
Cross country training. Tried her on some long low spread today and she did really well! Considering she's a fairly small mare she's got one hell of a scope on her. Plus it's a jump where she can go hell-for-leather on the approach so she loves 'em. I think cross country is probably her favourite out of the three, not to mention it's mine too -- considerably less muscle pain after a training session in it anyway!
